    Festive Makeup

Hello there, welcome to Blogmas (I’ve started a day early I know)! Over the next few weeks you will be seeing a lot of Christmas related content as we count down to the big day. We’re talking gift guides, decorating, baking and weekly updates so be sure to check back regularly to keep up to date. Today I thought I’d start with a festive makeup look which can be easily achieved at home. I thought I’d do this early on as I’m sure a lot of you will have a Christmas Party or Office Do coming up and obviously then there’s Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day- the works! To…

    My Lipstick Collection

I am quite the creature of habit when it comes to makeup, I used to buy new products constantly and never wore the same look two days running, but now I feel I know what I enjoy using and wearing. Over time this has come to mean a nude or neutral lip or just simply a lip balm, I get very dry lips so often lipstick formulas make my lips look even worse so I just avoid applying them. However recently my lips seem to be in better shape despite the cold weather (All thanks to Glossier Balm dot com) so I’ve been branching out back into the realm of…

    Skincare Suitable for You

I’ve talked about skincare a few times in various blog posts, usually about what skincare I’m enjoying using at the moment. However I realised to a lot of you this might not be useful, I only have 1 skin type, its quite dry and reasonably clear, so I can’t easily give recommendations to people with skin types differing from my own, I don’t know what works for oily or blemish prone skin. So today I thought I’d give my friends and family a chance to share with you their favourite products and how it works for their individual skin type and age. Amy: Age 21 Skin Type: Normal Skin “I…

    October Empties

I have broken my own golden rule of empties, never let them roll over to the next month…I have. I have accidentally let 2 months worth build up and now I have major regrets because there’s so many to talk about. I’m going to try the same format as the last one by talking about any new products ie. ones where this is the first empty and then list any repeat empties as I’m sure you’ll all be sick of reading about the same face wipes and shampoo constantly. So I’ll crack on because there’s a lot to get through. Superdrug Coconut Water & Coconut Oil Conditioner 400ml I recently…

    Glossier Haul and First Impressions

The time has come, I’ve been waiting and waiting….and waiting. Glossier has hit the UK! I have been lusting after their skincare and makeup products for the best part of a year as they were only available in the US but finally it’s made it’s way across the pond and straight into my basket. I’m a creature of habit and have really scaled back my makeup and skincare routines and collections over the last couple of years, so the fact that I have bought so much really shows how excited I was. I just think the whole brand is up my street, its all about less is more, lightweight makeup…
