    SPF: A Guide

Okay so if you live in the UK you may be wondering why I have chosen to publish a blog post on Sun Protection on a very miserable day. The truth is we’ve just had yet more lovely weather and I even caught the sun a little bit whilst hanging around in the park the other day. Today I thought I’d give a quick guide to SPF, what to look for and generally just give you all a little nudge to wear your suncream. Also, my boyfriend, who, I must add, has Ginger hair and Pale skin, has just returned from his holiday to Spain, with sunburn to bad he is in…

    July Empties

She’s here again with the empties. So this month I’m a little early as I moved all my empties from my little bag to a bigger drawer in my new room, and then the drawer started overflowing and wouldn’t close. I know, I use way too much stuff. I’d also just like to say that I’m currently sat in Starbucks writing this, as I still have no internet in the new house so if I post at weird times or on weird days it’s because I’m taking advantage of someone else’s wifi- bare with me. Everyday Makeup

So around about this time I would usually write a favourites post, however I’m struggling to scrape together even 3 things that I’ve been loving that I haven’t already mentioned. It seems silly to repeat myself or to claim other products are my favourites when they aren’t. What can I say, I’m a creature of habit, I like what I like. So instead today I thought I would talk you through my everyday makeup routine as I’ve been wearing basically the same thing for weeks now. Before we begin I’d like to apologise for forgetting to take photos with the brushes and of my face at various points- I did…

    Huge June Empties

It’s that time again, I can’t fit another product in my empties bag which means it’s time to tip them all out, take a few cheeky photos and share my opinions on them with you. This month I’ve managed to use up some old faves and also try some new bits, so here are the good and the bad of the last month- WARNING there are a lot. Yankee Candle Candy Cane Lane Large Jar I’m gonna mix it up and do candles first this time so you don’t all get bored of my shower gel ramblings like last month. So I’m aware this is a Christmas scent but I…

    New In Beauty

Okay so just a little one today because I’m actually starting my volunteer placement which I’m really excited about! I know I’m trying not to buy too many things at the moment while I’m working at using up what I already have but over the last couple of weeks I’ve picked up a few bits that have really intrigued me and that I Know I will use/ are missing from my collection. First up is the highly anticipated Soap & Glory The Rushshower Scent- Sational Dry Shampoo which is available in sizes 200ml (£4) and a travel friendly 50ml (£2.50). I was eager to try this because I find my…
