    January Book Reviews

One of my main goals for 2019 is to read 20 books, I think it’s manageable and I’ve got off to a good start. I thought I’d do some January book reviews to give you all an idea of what I’ve been reading, and listening to on audible, and if I have any recommendations for you. I won’t give away any spoilers but I’ll just outline the gist and my thoughts on each book in turn- plus the all important rating! Becoming- Michelle Obama I’m sure a lot of you have this on your reading list for this year as it was a very popular gift at Christmas time. I…

What I’ve Been Reading This Year

Today I thought I’d talk you through what I’ve been reading this year. I’ve been a bookworm from a very young age, and I don’t think that will ever change. This year, one of my goals was to read 20 books, I’ve so far read 13 so I’d say I’m reasonably on track. Big Magic Book Review

So I’m pretty certain this post is my first proper book review. You might have heard talk about Big Magic over the last couple of years, and rightly so. I first heard about it through word of mouth from other bloggers and YouTubers, it seems to be a bit of a bible to us online lot. It’s written by…

Top Books Of The Year | Blogmas Day 9

Today I thought I’ talk to you about my favourite books that I’ve read this year. You may have seen a few books dotted around in various monthly favourites posts but I thought it might be an idea to put them all together for you to see. I thought this might be helpful if you are stuck for what to buy someone who likes reading or maybe if you’re looking for things you want to read in 2018 yourself. So the first book that I really enjoyed this year and wanted to mention was The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck. I read this on a plane, I can’t remember…

    Autumn TBR

You may or may not know but I love to read. During term time I don’t really have as much time to read things that aren’t journal articles about the Third Reich but I try my best to squeeze a bit of reading for pleasure in now and then. My 2 peak times for reading tend to be when I’m on holiday and during the colder Autumn evenings tucked up in bed whilst burning a candle. Luckily we are currently in Autumn and I’ll be going on holiday in a couple of weeks. So I thought that I would discuss which books are on my TBR (To Be Read) list…
