    Autumn Wardrobe

It’s unofficially official, Autumn is here. We may not reach the Autumn equinox for a few more weeks but the weather seems to have changed overnight, the leaves are falling, Autumn I am ready. Autumn is my favourite season, I love the colours, the cosy nights in and the style, I love nothing more than a comfy jumper and a pair of chelsea boots. Unsurprisingly I have jumped the gun and said goodbye to my summer wardrobe. You may remember a while ago I posted that I wanted a curated closet, I wanted to cut down the amount of clothes I owned and have an edited wardrobe of clothes that…

    August Faves

I feel like despite this month being the end of summer, I’ve jumped the gun and entered into full autumn mode already. This is obvious from my August favourites which consists of all the components for a cosy night in….in high summer. So first up is the series that gripped me and Amy from episode one, we thought we were going to have a nice quiet night in watching Happy Valley, after 20 minutes we realised there was no going back and we had to watch the whole 2 series immediately. I was super excited as I’d never been on a proper night out in Manchester before. We…

Having attended 5 festivals (including Leeds 3 times) I feel like I’m pretty damn experienced and have got the essential packing list down. In this post I’ll share my top tips and packing essentials to tackle the great British weather. If you’re from the US and are used to the likes of Coachella, just close this post now, you will be baffled by the need for 10…

Why I’m Glad Results Day Went Wrong

Exactly 2 years ago today, I was in full blown panic mode. I got my A-Level results and I hadn’t got into my first or second choice Uni, in short, I’d had quite the mare and I’m sooooooo glad. Whilst most of my friends had secured their place with their grades, I’d fallen short of the mark and had to make the dreaded phone call to clearing. I got BBD, which if I’m perfectly honest I think could have been a lot worse, I just had the inability to successfully complete the Irish History exam from AS Level which brought my whole History grade down. Despite my panic I managed…
