A Week in the Life: Exams Edition

Okay so I have finished uni now until September apart from 2 upcoming exams which are ruining my life and I can’t wait to be over. I thought I’d do an updated version of what my weeks have been like whilst I’ve been stuck inside revising because I’ve actually managed to do some quite cool stuff this last week despite the workload. Sunday 23rd April: So last Sunday I spent the morning writing and taking photos for my April Favourites blog post which I then posted. I was actually not very well and feeling sorry for myself so it was quite a lazy morning. Then Josh and I had a…

    Ethical Shopping

So today I though I’d talk about something that actually has a bit of meaning and importance behind it rather then just a random assortment of items I’ve been loving this past month. I’ve been noticing for a while that we as a society are obsessed with consumerism. We need to buy everything new, we need it and we need it now. We are addicted to buying and buying and buying more but how often do we stop and think about the impact of our purchases? Things That Make Me Happy

Today I thought I’d talk about a few things that make me happy. I think it’s very important to find out what makes you happy and try to do more of it. Take note of the little things in life that you enjoy and would miss if they didn’t happen anymore, it’s very rewarding to feel present and joyful in everyday life. I love cooking homemade food, I find it relaxing and it is a good chance…

    What’s In My Bag?

First of all I want to say Happy Easter! I hope your day is filled with chocolate and laziness and family. I thought I’d go back quite old school here with a ‘What’s in my Bag?’ post, I mean really can I even consider myself a blogger until I’ve hit this milestone? I think not, so grab yourself the nearest Easter Egg and get comfy. Now I am by no means a handbag addict, some people spend thousands on the perfect bag, not me, I accidentally ruin all my bags eventually so there’s no point investing in designer luxury right now, as nice as they might be. So for now…

    Sunday Funday

So if you live in the UK, unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ll have noticed the lovely weather we had this past weekend. We Brits donned our summer wardrobe, headed to the parks and the beaches, cracked out the BBQ and enjoyed our short time in the sun. As I work Saturday’s I wanted to make sure I made the most of the lovely weather on Sunday so I set an alarm and got up to have a nice day. Me and Josh headed out for breakfast at our favourite cafe in Sheffield, Marmadukes. We had some gorgeous pancakes with maple syrup and bacon and I had a…
