    September Intentions

Well, September has rolled around pretty quickly this year. If we blink again it will be Christmas. So today I thought I’d talk you through my September intentions. It’s just going to be a short one, so that I can look back at the end of the month and see how I’ve got on. I always think September makes me feel reasonably productive, I think it’s the whole back to school thing that does it. However, this year for the first time in nearly two decades, I won’t be going back into education. Each September I have gone back to school or college or university, this year all that is…

    What Happens After Uni?

After studying History for three years, I now find myself a graduate wondering what the hell comes next? I thought it might be interesting to note what happens after uni finishes. When I asked on a recent instagram poll it seemed that lots people were interested. What happens after Uni: Moving Home I moved out at 18 when I went to University, meaning I have lived away from my parents home for three years. Checking in with my 2018 Goals

You know way back in January when everyone was at it, setting their New Year’s Resolutions, I wrote a blog post about my goals for the coming year. Well almost 8 months have gone by and I thought it might be about time to check in on my 2018 goals. So my first goal was to apply myself in my final term of Uni. I think it’s safe to say that went well because  I have now finished my degree.…

    Turtle Bay Sheffield Review

So, by now some of you may have noticed the newest restaurant and bar which has popped up in Sheffield City Centre. Turtle Bay has been fully booked almost every night since it opened on 3rd June. It’s in a prime location on Holly Street, just opposite the City Hall, perfect for Friday night cocktails or an impromtu meal. Last month myself and Josh were lucky enough to attend the Turtle Bay Sheffield branch launch event, which was a super fun party featuring live music, cocktails and a chance to sample a few bits off the menu. Since then I’ve been invited back to sample a proper meal with my…

    A Month Of Sundays

Sundays for me are a mixture of two things. They should either be extremely lazy days where you lay in bed binge watching Netflix and stuffing your face with food. Or they should be days to be out exploring new places, eating nice food or doing cool things with loved ones. So that’s why on this sunny bank holiday I thought I’d share how I spent my previous 4 Sundays. So here goes… Sunday 1 The First Sunday of May was a scorcher, myself and Josh spent the day sunbathing and chilling as it also happened to be a bank holiday. We headed to Clifton Park in the morning, where…
