    Things To Do In Lockdown

How’s everyone finding things? Are you struggling to find things to do in lockdown? On a scale of crawling the walls to embracing life as a recluse I’d say I sit somewhere in the middle. I’m very happy to stay indoors at the moment and have only left my house twice in eight weeks ( and no I’m not even shielding). However I am of course really missing seeing my loved ones. I’m very lucky that I can work from home, I don’t have children to homeschool and that we’ve been able to get food deliveries so I haven’t needed to venture out. Today I thought I’d share some things…

    February Favourites 2019 | AD

I haven’t been doing a favourites post every month for a while now, I did a 2018 overall favourites but I’m not tying myself to doing them religiously. However this past month I’ve had a few February favourites so I thought it might be nice to share them with you. The Worst Witch (AD- Gifted) At the start of the month myself and my friend Sally headed to the Sheffield Lyceum to catch a performance of The Worst Witch. I loved these books when I was a kid, Mildred Hubble is the worst witch that has ever attended Miss Cackles Academy for Witches. The show, particularly the staging, was so…

    Summer Favourites

I haven’t done a proper monthly favourites for a long time, so I thought it might be nice to bundle them all together in a summer favourites post instead. The Leadmill Comedy Club* Last month, myself and Josh headed to The Leadmill- my favourite events venue in Sheffield, for their monthly Comedy Club. We saw 3 top class comedians who had us both in stitches. They covered everything from life as a Dad, to chatting up the audience using songs. We were picked on for being on the front row by the ruthless compere, but it’s all a bit of fun. Who doesn’t want interrogating about their sex life in front…

    March Favourites

March has been funny old month with yet more snow, and yet Spring seems to be trying it’s best to get underway. We’re already a quarter of the way into the year, which is absolute madness! Over the past few weeks I’ve found some new favourites which I have jotted down to share with you. There aren’t a load but the ones I have chosen are pretty good if I do say so myself. Rupi Kaur First up, the most recent fave! On thursday myself and Amy hopped on the train to Leeds to go and see Rupi Kaur perform on her tour for The Sun and Her Flowers. I’ll give…

    February Favourites

With the end of February drawing near, I’m hoping that Spring may finally be in the air- it’s about time we had some warmer weather instead of the relentless biting cold. I’ve managed to accumulate a few favourites over the past few weeks, although admittedly not as many as January, but then again it is a shorter months so I suppose that’s to be expected. Not to mention I’ve spent the last couple of weeks glued to my laptop, a slave to my degree, so that really cuts down on the time to find new things I like. First up, a foodie favourite! I’ve had the Tanya Bakes book by…
