    Lanzarote Lookbook

So you may or may not know but I have spent the last two weeks, trying, and failing, to get a tan in sunny Lanzarote. It was a thoroughly enjoyable family holiday including lots of beer, dissertation work, good food and good people. So today I thought I would share with you some of my outfits from the trip, a mixture of day and night attire that might give you some inspiration if you happen to be going away soon, a Lanzarote Lookbook if you like. I’d also like to say a quick thanks to my various photographers on this trip, Josh, Mum, Alice, Ellis, Grandad you absolute gems. So…

What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag?

After a hectic week of Uni deadlines and working, I’m super excited to finally be packing for my holiday! Very soon I’ll be a jetting off for a bit of sun in Lanzarote with Josh and my family. I thought I’d do a little bit of content on what I’ve been packing to take with me, as if you’re nosey like me, you might find it interesting. So I’m starting off with what’s in my travel makeup bag! Usually I try and be as minimal as possible when packing beauty products to take away with me, however this trip will be nearly 2 weeks so I want to make sure…

    We’re Going To Rome

As I’m sure you can imagine, I’m very excited to be writing this blog post, the title is a bit of a give away as to why! I mentioned in my recent post that myself and Josh were planning to book our holiday to Rome soon, and a couple of nights ago we did just that. We parked ourselves in front of Expedia and scrolled through pages of flights and hotels until we found the perfect holiday. The most exciting thing? The week we’ve chosen means I’ll be spending my 21st birthday in Rome, I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather be! Obviously the actual booking has been sorted but…

A Day In York | Blogmas Day 5

Yesterday, myself, Amy, Abi and Danielle headed off for our annual Christmas Shopping Trip to York! We had a lovely afternoon pottering around the Shambles looking in all the shops and of course stopping for food! As it’s only an hour away on the train it’s a nice alternative to shopping in Meadowhall and a lot more festive with all the lights and live music being played in the streets. Side note it’s probably cheaper to get the train than to park your car and then you can have a mulled wine at the Christmas Market- so plan that as you wish! Obviously I picked up a couple of presents…

    Barcelona

I’m finally here to break my radio silence, I’m sorry there hasn’t been a blog post for a while, I’ve been absolutely swamped with Uni work (2 deadlines in a week!!) and as you may have guessed from the title I’ve been busy taking in the beautiful sights of Barcelona so that’s what I’m going to tell you all abut today. A while ago Josh and I booked ourselves a long weekend for the end of October to catch one last bit of sun before the weather drops below freezing and the Christmas rush makes work manic! We went from Friday to Monday which was just enough time to cram…
