    TBT- Venice

So I’ve decided to dedicate each Thursday’s post to be a throwback of a trip or adventure that I’ve been on so I can share the experiences I’ve already had before I started blogging. Last summer I went to Venice in July with one of my best friends from uni, Sam. It was a spur of the moment decision one cold winters night that we decided we needed a holiday  and we decided we wanted to go to a busy city and what better one to tick off the bucket list than Venice? We spent 4 days in the city and it was amazing! We booked the holiday as a…

    Wardrobe Declutter

So this might bore some of you to tears but if you’re anything like me ie. Nosy, hopefully you will enjoy this post. I’m having a bit of a decluttering moment which basically means I’m in the process of purging my house of unnecessary objects and clothes that I no longer need or want- spurred on by various YouTube videos explaining the best ways how. When decluttering your wardrobe the best thing to do is take everything out- we’re talking  drawers and all get every single thing out on the bed where you can see it properly. Then while it’s empty give your wardrobe or chest of drawers a quick…

Anti Haul: I Don’t Need It

Recently the Anti Haul has become a bit of a thing (Thank Kimberly Clark), and honestly I think it’s a great idea. As Kimberly would say you need to adopt a policy with yourself of ‘don’t need it, not gonna buy it”. The point being made here and one that I think is very valid is that people feel obliged to buy things because they are frightened of missing out on the latest beauty hype. In an age of YouTube and mass advertising the newest products are seen everywhere, however its important not to forget that these people are often getting paid to talk about or are sent these products…

    I went Skiing

So I went Skiing! I know for some people this is nothing special, most schools run a trip nowadays but for me it was my first experience on a pair of skis, so this is how it went. We went on mass as a family to Kitzbuehel in Austria for the actual skiing, but we stayed in a gorgeous house in Reith by Kitzbehel, about 10 minutes away from the main ski resort. As a complete beginner I would 100% recommend attending Ski School. I literally can’t praise my teacher Lidia enough, she got me from never being on a pair of skis to skiing all the way down the…

How Cruel is My Makeup Bag?

This one could take a while to read so get comfy. I’ve been looking into going cruelty free for a while now and I’m proud to say that as far as I know I haven’t purchased any product recently that was tested on animals. So what is cruelty free and what to look out for? Products and brands that are cruelty free do not test on animals, although at some point in human history, they cannot guarantee a specific ingredient was not tested. Some brands are vegan, meaning they do not contain any animal products at all eg. Beeswax, whilst others unfortunately do test on animals. Even more confusing are…
