    Am I Sustainable Enough?

I’m going all out and asking the big question today. Am I sustainable enough? With everything that’s going on in the world it seems like there is an overwhelming pressure to do more to be green, but is it ever enough? The issue seems to be that there are too many issues to tackle at once. If i’m not worrying about plastic pollution, i’m worrying about fast fashion, if it’s not that, it’s food waste etc. etc. It goes on and on, and the more your eyes are opened to these issues the more overwhelming it becomes. So for my own piece of mind, and maybe to inspire some of…

    Can a Haul Be Sustainable?

Today I want to talk about fashion again and I have a bit of a bone to pick. Is there such a thing as an sustainable haul? If you’re a long-time reader you probably know I operate a capsule wardrobe, I try not to buy too many clothes and try to choose ethical and sustainable brands- like this gorg jacket from The Good Life Co*. How To Prep Your Wardrobe For Autumn

I think we can all agree that Autumn is well and truly in the air. We are having the odd burst of sunshine but the rain is creeping in and there’s a definite chill in the morning. So today I thought I’d talk about how to prep your wardrobe for Autumn. I am a wardrobe organisation junkie. I bloody love changing it up season by season, so I’ve been quick to get sorting it out. Fast fashion is what we have grown accustomed to, the high street churns out new styles and designs season after season at a low cost. However these items are often poor quality, get thrown away after only a few wears and they also have a damaging impact to many people’s lives that we don’t see. Many large chains use sweat shops in less economically developed countries. Factory employees, work long hours for low pay and often in poor conditions. Low labour costs and…

    Festival Queens

I have loved going to festivals since I was 17, I have frequented Leeds Festival many a time and each year I love to try out other festivals including Y Not, and more locally to Sheffield, Tramlines. I’ve also now been on 3 girls holidays, so as you can imagine on both of these types of occasions I like to dress up in some very extra or “jazzy” outfits as I like to call them. That’s why I wanted to talk about Festival Queens, an upcoming brand whose aim is to be as inclusive as possible, for anybody who wants to dress up like a sass Queen for a cool…
