December Birthday Fun | Blogmas Day 19

Oooops I did it again (If I channel my inner Britney will you forgive me?). I went quiet over the weekend again, but not without good reason, I’ve been super busy with not one but two birthdays in the last few days!! First up was my Mum’s on Thursday, just before I finished Uni. We just went for a nice lunch at Zizzi’s (my fave place for pasta) with my Dad and grandparents and then had a little wander around the shops. Like the bad blogger I am I forgot to take any photos of us or the food, my bad. It was a really lovely day, even though we…

Last Day Of Term | Blogmas Day 15

So today I’ve finally made it to the end of the first semester of Uni, thank god! It’s been a long term with lots of stress, assignments and also a dissertation looming in the background. It’s so strange to think that I’m now halfway through 3rd year and I only have one term left as a student, *screams internally*. I thought I’d spend today’s post talking through how Uni’s had me feeling for the past 3 months so maybe any other students reading will realise it’s not just them feeling this way. 3rd year has been a huge step up from 2nd in terms of work load, I’m doing one…

    Baking Banana Bread

I love baking, I’ve done it with my grandparents since I was a young child and as I am incredibly greedy with a sweet tooth I can’t get enough of it. I’ve baked for school projects, for charity bake days at my Dad’s work and just for the fun of it. Unfortunately at Uni I don’t do it as often as I would like and I have to make do with watching The Great British Bake Off instead. However when Danielle mentioned she had some bananas that were past their best and we realised we both had a free evening we jumped on the chance to bake banana bread! We…

    Skincare Suitable for You

I’ve talked about skincare a few times in various blog posts, usually about what skincare I’m enjoying using at the moment. However I realised to a lot of you this might not be useful, I only have 1 skin type, its quite dry and reasonably clear, so I can’t easily give recommendations to people with skin types differing from my own, I don’t know what works for oily or blemish prone skin. So today I thought I’d give my friends and family a chance to share with you their favourite products and how it works for their individual skin type and age. Amy: Age 21 Skin Type: Normal Skin “I…

A Week in the Life: Freshers Edition

So you may have noticed I’ve been MIA on here since last week and that is because I have been super busy with Freshers week. I decided to let myself enjoy the week as it was my last one ever so I didn’t want to be stressed out about content instead of having fun. In this post I thought I’d just talk you through what I’ve been up to as a lot of you seem to like it when I do this kind of post. So here’s what happened during Freshers 3.0. Sunday Okay so Sunday was about as un-freshers as it could get but I couldn’t not include it…
