    Matilda The Musical Review

Matilda. It’s a story we all know and love, The Trunchbull is infamous and we all know the old “I’m right and you’re wrong, I’m big and you’re small, and there’s nothing you can do about it” line. How then, does this beloved Roald Dahl classic translate to the stage as Matilda the Musical? This week I was invited along to The Palace Theatre in Manchester with some fellow WeBlogNorth members to to watch Matilda The Musical*. The show is currently on it’s UK tour and is midway through it’s stint in Manchester, which began back in September and draws to a close on November 24th- so if you like the…

    A Month Of Sundays

Sundays for me are a mixture of two things. They should either be extremely lazy days where you lay in bed binge watching Netflix and stuffing your face with food. Or they should be days to be out exploring new places, eating nice food or doing cool things with loved ones. There are 2 series of 6 episodes, so it doesn’t completely take over your life but there are so…

    Bank Holiday Fun

For the first time in 4 years, I had August Bank Holiday free, having spent the previous 3 years at Leeds Festival I didn’t really know what to do with myself when I realised I didn’t have plans. Luckily Amy decide to organise a trip to Manchester for her early-birthday celebrations. So today I thought I’d talk you through what we got up to. Friday 25th August Myself, Josh, Amy and her boyfriend Steven headed to Manchester on Friday to meet up with our other friends Sam and Billy for a night out. I was super excited as I’d never been on a proper night out in Manchester before. We…

    Bank Holiday Weekend

So this weekend in the UK it’s been Bank holiday which means long weekend and it also coincided with my first Saturday off work since February so I thought that today I would share what I got up to! Friday 26th May  I had Friday off from work and volunteering and the weather was gorgeous so I decided to get out in the sun! Everyone was at work or on holiday so I just decided to read my book on the back garden for a while- obviously it was that hot I had to whip the suncream out because I burn so badly. I started reading Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso…
