    Turtle Bay Sheffield Review

So, by now some of you may have noticed the newest restaurant and bar which has popped up in Sheffield City Centre. Turtle Bay has been fully booked almost every night since it opened on 3rd June. It’s in a prime location on Holly Street, just opposite the City Hall, perfect for Friday night cocktails or an impromtu meal. Last month myself and Josh were lucky enough to attend the Turtle Bay Sheffield branch launch event, which was a super fun party featuring live music, cocktails and a chance to sample a few bits off the menu. Since then I’ve been invited back to sample a proper meal with my…

    Forum: Sheffield’s Newest Menu

If you’re from Sheffield, you will know that Division Street is a hub of quirky shops, independent breweries and bars, and if you’re not from Sheffield, then listen up because you are about to learn something new. Last night myself and Amy were lucky enough to be invited along to Division Street, home of Forum, one of Sheffield’s coolest kitchen/bars to try out the new menu, which will be launching in the next couple of weeks (late April). The Cabin: The Best Pancakes In Sheffield

I’m putting it out there now, I love pancakes. I love them with ice cream. I love them with fruit or golden syrup. I love scotch pancakes. I love crepes, you get the idea. Situated, under Atkinsons at the bottom of the Moor, it is in a prime city centre location and I have never seen it not busy so I think that pretty…

Frost/Nixon: A Night At The Theatre

So last night myself and Danielle headed to the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield to go and see their latest production, Frost/Nixon! The lovely Ellie who works there invited me and my plus one over for a blogger event with some other local Sheffield Bloggers. We began the night with a Frosty Nixon cocktail or two made by the guys over at Crucible Corner  before the show. I couldn’t believe how much I liked a cocktail that contained gin, vodka, tequila AND rum (I usually hate 3/4 of those spirits)! When we arrived we found they’d thrown us an entire 70’s party, disco ball and everything! They had the best playlist I’ve…
