    I Finished 2nd Year!

This year has flown by ridiculously quickly, it feels like yesterday I was moving into my new house and now I’m already thinking about packing for moving out and that’s because I’ve just finished 2nd year of Uni! At this point I’m getting slight palpitations about the fact I am 2/3 of the way through my degree and I still don’t know what I want to do with my life hahaha (that is a nervous laugh). So today I thought I would talk through some of my favourite things about 2nd year and just what it’s like in general, I touched upon some of this stuff a bit more in…

    A Tour of Sheffield

This post is essentially going to be an ode to Sheffield. I love it, it’s my hometown, where I grew up, where I go to uni and where I love to explore. There are so many cool thing to do and places to eat right in the city centre that are within walking distance of near enough everything. Places to Eat Marmadukes Okay so this one is my fave for a lazy Sunday brunch, me and Josh love to go here for the bacon and maple syrup pancakes…

As I work Saturday’s I wanted to make sure I made the most of the lovely weather on Sunday so I set an alarm and got up to have a nice day. Me and Josh headed out for breakfast at our favourite cafe in Sheffield, Marmadukes. We had some gorgeous pancakes with maple syrup and bacon and I had a…

Basically this is where I realise this post was a bad idea and what I’ve been doing is too boring to write about. If you want to see a visual version of this week, check out Amy’s vlogs where she’s filmed most of what I’m going to talk about! Monday 13th March: So the week started off very well, Me, Josh and Chi decided we would go for a run at 7.30am  to the…

    Life at Uni

So today I thought I’d chat about what it’s like to be at University in the UK and I’m assuming people will either read it and relate or they might read in disgust of how we students live. I’m currently in my second year, studying History at Sheffield Hallam University and I am never in uni. Literally I attend lectures and seminars for 9 hours a week and the rest of my work is just reading to do in my spare time (which I have a lot of). Now this is going to sound a bit rich coming from someone who’s never in, but uni can get really stressful, especially…
