    Summer Favourites

I haven’t done a proper monthly favourites for a long time, so I thought it might be nice to bundle them all together in a summer favourites post instead. The Leadmill Comedy Club* Last month, myself and Josh headed to The Leadmill- my favourite events venue in Sheffield, for their monthly Comedy Club. We saw 3 top class comedians who had us both in stitches. They covered everything from life as a Dad, to chatting up the audience using songs. We were picked on for being on the front row by the ruthless compere, but it’s all a bit of fun. Who doesn’t want interrogating about their sex life in front…

    Green People Suncare

We all know it’s important to stay protected from the sun and that we should wear SPF but how many of us actually do it when we aren’t on holiday? I can honestly hold my hand up and say I’ve never been one to apply an SPF as part of the skin care routine whilst in the UK, unless it’s already incorporated into my moisturiser. My other struggle is that I have found it difficult in the past, to find a cruelty-free sun care range which works for my skin. Enter Green People. When Green People got in touch I was super keen to work with them to help promote…

    A Month Of Sundays

Sundays for me are a mixture of two things. They should either be extremely lazy days where you lay in bed binge watching Netflix and stuffing your face with food. Or they should be days to be out exploring new places, eating nice food or doing cool things with loved ones. So that’s why on this sunny bank holiday I thought I’d share how I spent my previous 4 Sundays. So here goes… Sunday 1 The First Sunday of May was a scorcher, myself and Josh spent the day sunbathing and chilling as it also happened to be a bank holiday. We headed to Clifton Park in the morning, where…

Lanzarote: A Travel Guide to Playa Blanca

I have just returned from a very much needed holiday in Lanzarote, where, despite continuing to work on my dissertation which is due THIS MONTH, I had a lovely time and had a chance to recharge, soak up the sun and relax. You may have already seen my Lanzarote Look book where I have put together a kind of outfit diary of what I wore whilst I was away.  I went away with Josh and my family for a couple of weeks, Josh came out and stayed with me, my grandparents and their friend Margaret and then after a week of cocktails and sunbathing, Josh and Margaret went home, to…

    We’re Going To Rome

As I’m sure you can imagine, I’m very excited to be writing this blog post, the title is a bit of a give away as to why! I mentioned in my recent post that myself and Josh were planning to book our holiday to Rome soon, and a couple of nights ago we did just that. We parked ourselves in front of Expedia and scrolled through pages of flights and hotels until we found the perfect holiday. The most exciting thing? The week we’ve chosen means I’ll be spending my 21st birthday in Rome, I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather be! Obviously the actual booking has been sorted but…
