How to Save Money at University

As my Back to Uni series continues, I thought it would be a good idea to address one of the biggest issues facing students, money. As the start of a new term brings a fresh student loan, students will fall into 2 categories, 1) they will have so much money they want to spend it all at once or 2) Their student loan doesn’t even cover their accommodation let alone living expenses. Lucky for me I fall into the latter category so I thought I would share with you some tips I have picked up in the last 2 years at Uni. Food Buy Food in Bulk and cook in…

    What To Take To Uni

We are fast approaching Freshers week, some new students have already moved into halls but most will be making the move this coming weekend. As if potentially moving halfway across the country isn’t stressful enough you’ve also got to decide what to bring with you to Uni and try to cram it into the car. Why I’m Glad Results Day Went Wrong

Exactly 2 years ago today, I was in full blown panic mode. I got my A-Level results and I hadn’t got into my first or second choice Uni, in short, I’d had quite the mare and I’m sooooooo glad. Whilst most of my friends had secured their place with their grades, I’d fallen short of the mark and had to make the dreaded phone call to clearing. Despite my panic I managed…

Instead I thought I’d give you an insight into why I love relaxing outside as well as a few photos of what I’ve been up too recently. So as someone who likes their own company, but is also crawling the walls if left inside alone for more than one day, I have learned the importance of getting outside. Especially at this time of year when the weather can be so nice it’s so important to get outside on lunch breaks, days off, or…

    I Want a Curated Closet!

Okay so over the past few weeks I’ve been culling my wardrobe, selling some items on depop and generally just clearing out my things ready to move house (I promise I will eventually stop going on about it). Despite having an earlier clearout, I felt like my wardrobe still needed some work, there were items I didn’t wear or had yet again outgrown so I decided to have another purge. Now that I finally have a wardrobe of things that I actually wear, I want to go one step better, I want to delve into having a capsule wardrobe. Now, a capsule wardrobe is basically a constantly rotating wardrobe, where…
